My continuing education training and experience is very strong in manual therapy “hands on” techniques including soft tissue and joint mobilizations, muscle energy treatments, strain and counterstrain, and cranio-sacral therapies. Just a few of the courses I have taken include McKenzie Lumbar and Cervical courses; several Stanley Paris orthopedic courses; Cranio-sacral therapy-I; Shirley Sahrman “Diagnosis and Treatment of Muscle Imbalances”; and osteopathic muscle energy techniques of the spine and extremities. I have a strong background in assessing and diagnosing postural muscle imbalances and movement disorders resulting from faulty body mechanics and poor movement patterns. I have personally had knee reconstructive surgery and had a low back injury from which I have gained a lot of personal experience in rehabilitating the spine and post-surgical knee. I thoroughly enjoy practicing physical therapy and returning clients to the greatest function and quality of life possible. In my spare time I enjoy travel, cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
