Campbellsville University, Exercise Sports Medicine Education

I grew up in Nicholasville, Kentucky where I attended West Jessamine High School. After graduation I continued my education at Campbellsville University in Kentcucky. At Campbellsville University I received the Exercise Sports Medicine Education award my senior year which is awarded to one member of the Science department each year. I also started all four years for the football team. After graduation I received the opportunity to go to Concord, North Carolina and play Arena Football for the Carolina Speed for 2 and a half years. I was then determined to find a job and I contacted Body Structure Medical Fitness Facility for a job opportunity. After a phone interview and a chance to meet with the directors in person, I moved back to Lexington, Kentucky where I was hired within a few weeks with the company.
I have been with Body Structure Medical Fitness Facility for almost 6 years. I started off as a person trainer and after years of experience and hard work, I got the opportunity to move up as the manger of the Lexington Tennis Club. My team finished the first year very strong accomplishing many expectations. I had the opportunity to step into the PFT Director position nearly a year later.
I enjoy training one on one with clients pushing them to their goals safely. Developing a trusting relationship with my clients to believe in me as well as in themselves has been a good trait of mine. I love working with people an seeing their lives change to where they never thought they could be. I also enjoy working with children and young athletes as well in a group setting.
