While I’m originally from Indiana, I have lived in Lexington since 1987. I am married to John and we have a son, Logan. I speak of them often and you will find out quickly, they are the light of my life. I love Lexington and have been blessed to work in this area for most of my professional career. I am excited to become part of the Body Structure community. I love the atmosphere, being surrounded by individuals motivated and educated to live healthier lives. The desire to be fit and healthy is inspiring to me, and I hope I can instill this importance of continued exercise to my patients.
I have over 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and have worked in a variety of settings. I have continued my skills as a Therapist by attending courses, reading professional journals, and attending in-services with my colleagues. I use manual therapy as the basis and first order of treatment in addition to the use of movement and exercise to restore function. I have learned through my years as a Therapist that, although our attempts to restore “normal” sometimes is not possible, it is possible to help our patients live full functional lives. It is my goal and promise to help my patients return to their highest functional level and, hopefully, even better than their previous normal performance.
